The <\/strong>last stage of HIV <\/strong>is called AIDS<\/strong>. A person with HIV who does not undergo treatment usually develops AIDS. An individual is considered to have AIDS<\/strong> when the number of their CD4 cells falls below 200 cells\/mm3<\/sup>. AIDS<\/strong> is a serious condition in which a person\u2019s immune system is already severely damaged, which increases the chances of other infections or cancers developing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
