What are the first symptoms of HIV?
HIV symptoms include:
- Fever
- Chills
- Rash
- Night sweats
- Muscle aches
- Sore throat
- Fatigue
- Swollen lymph nodes
- Headache
- Diarrhea
These symptoms do not guarantee that you have the virus or don’t have it. The only way to know is to get tested. The first symptoms usually occur between 2 and 4 weeks after infection according to the CDC. Some people experience symptoms, while others don’t.
